Our projects are designed for Upstate New York’s freeze-thaw climate, ensuring long-term durability not just short-term looks.
The initial consultation is a paid on-site visit where James walks your property with you. He reviews the layout, takes measurements, discusses your goals and budget, and looks at drainage and any site conditions that will affect the build. You will come away with a clear sense of what is possible, what it will cost, and how long it will take. There is no pressure to move forward on the spot.
After the site visit, James puts together a detailed written scope covering the layout, materials, drainage plan, and a fixed investment range. Most estimates are ready within a few business days. We do not give vague ballpark numbers over the phone. You get a real estimate based on what your specific project actually requires.
Yes. James is present or closely involved on key days for every project. Pure Perfection is not a company where the owner sells the job and hands it off to a crew you have never met. Owner-led oversight is one of the reasons our builds hold up over decades of Upstate New York winters.
Most projects are scheduled to start within 2 to 4 weeks of signing, depending on where we are in the season and what materials need to be ordered. During peak months like May through July, the schedule fills faster. We encourage reaching out in late winter or early spring if you want a summer install. You will always have a confirmed start date before you commit.
Expect a clean, organized job site. Our crew handles excavation, base prep, drainage, material delivery, and installation in sequence. We communicate with you at each stage so you know what is happening and why. We do not rush the base work. Proper compaction and drainage take time and they are the reason our installs stay flat and stable for decades.
At the end of every project James walks through the completed work with you in person. He explains how to care for your new surface, what to expect in the first winter, and how the warranty works. You get a 5-year workmanship guarantee on all hardscaping. If anything is not right, we come back and fix it. The walkthrough is also your chance to ask any questions before we close out the job.
We install Cambridge Pavers, Techo-Bloc, and Unilock for hardscaping and Trex composite for decking. These are the top-tier product lines in the industry and all carry manufacturer warranties. We do not use off-brand materials to cut costs. The pavers, wall block, and deck boards we install are the same ones architects and landscape designers specify for premium projects.
